A structured, skill-based ecosystem devoted to cultivating conscious communication, nervous-system resilience, conflict literacy, and ethical leadership.
The Relational Wisdom School is an educational ecosystem — a living learning environment shaped through participation, practice, and shared responsibility, rather than a static institution that simply delivers information. Here, students develop relational wisdom through shared language, practical tools, courage, and commitment.
In dynamic and challenging moments — when stress is high, stakes feel personal, and differences surface — these capacities support people to stay present, navigate rupture, and repair with integrity. Rather than weakening relationships, difficulty becomes the very ground where trust deepens and connection grows more resilient.
Connection in the Relational Wisdom School is not left to chance. As individuals learn to speak truth with care, meet conflict with responsibility, and remain in dialogue when it matters most, authentic community becomes inevitable.
When you join one of our programs, you are investing in a living curriculum that develops relational capacity through conscious communication, nervous system resilience, and real, embodied learning experiences.
Across human history, tribes and traditional societies relied on relational stewards — elders, mediators, shamans, council leaders — individuals who understood how to regulate fear, interpret conflict, and restore harmony before fractures became permanent.
They were not only leaders, they were educators. Stabilizers of the collective nervous system. Modern culture has largely lost structured pathways into eldership. Many retire from careers without being invited into their next evolutionary role — as teachers, bridge-builders, and way-showers. Part of what we are doing here is restoring that pathway.
We are not just teaching communication skills, we are cultivating relational stewards. What is being stewarded here is a relational learning field — a structured, skill-based ecosystem devoted to cultivating conscious communication, nervous-system resilience, conflict literacy, and ethical leadership.
When triggers activate the nervous system — when fear and stress distort judgment — unskilled leadership can fracture communities overnight. Inspiration and vision alone do not sustain community. Shared values alone do not prevent collapse.
What sustains a relational ecosystem is the capacity to:
• Stay grounded when others are dysregulated
• De-escalate polarization
• Interrupt paranoia before it becomes persecution
• Repair conflict before it hardens into division
• Hold power transparently without corruption
In a relational ecosystem:
• Teachers steward the integrity of the field
• Facilitators hold safety when emotions surge
• Mentors model repair in real-time
• Students practice courageously
• Money or other exchange from students supports continuity, stability, training & infrastructure
Because throughout history, it has never been inspiration or vision that destroys communities. It is unexamined power, unmanaged fear, and unskilled conflict.
We’re an educational ecosystem devoted to co-creating conscious relationships. Our work is rooted in lived experience, not labels or diagnosis, and supports people who are ready to move beyond fixing themselves and into an honest relationship with their inner world through emotional awareness.
At the core of our approach is INside-OWT™, a simple, natural, somatic–based, soul-informed inquiry process that supports emotional embodiment, nervous system regulation, and relational clarity in moments of stress, conflict, and intensity. Alongside Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Conscious Communication, we help people build the capacity to stay present under pressure, communicate without blame or withdrawal, and repair ruptures in real-time.
Relational Wisdom School is held by a small, deeply aligned collective of teachers and facilitators. We uphold consent, confidentiality, and continuity, and we care deeply about creating a spiritual and educational community where integrity and belonging exist together.

We’re here to help people remember how to be human together in a rapidly changing world through integrated, embodied relationship skills.
Through somatic awareness, emotional truth and Conscious Communication, we guide people back into a felt sense of safety where connection becomes medicine instead of conflict.
Our work reconnects people to their innate wisdom and one another, building resilient nervous systems and thriving relational ecosystems where authenticity and belonging co-exist.

Our work supports entrepreneurial couples and lifelong learners who treat relational capacity as foundational to leadership, family life, and legacy.
Many of the people who find us are successful “on paper,” yet privately caught in repeating dynamics, resentment, shutdown, defensiveness, or conflict that drains both intimacy and momentum.
Inside a spiritual and educational community, you’re met with warmth and truth, guided into practical tools that work when real life is happening, not just when everything is calm.
Relational Wisdom School is guided by a small collective with complementary strengths, united by devotion to relational integrity, nervous system intelligence, embodied truth, and emotional awareness.

Summer is the creator of INside-OWT™, a somatic–relational framework blending embodied emotional awareness, Conscious Communication, and soul-led inquiry. She supports people to move out of self-judgment and into a relationship with their own inner intelligence, gently, precisely, and without overwhelm. She is the author of Soul-Side Out: Universal Laws to Healing and Living Your Best Life (Pacific Book Awards, 2021). As she often says: “I don’t help people fix themselves. I help them remember how to listen.”

Andre specializes in emotional responsibility, nervous system regulation, and relational repair, especially where reactivity, shutdown, or long-standing conflict patterns are present. Trained in Positive Intelligence and Conscious Communication, he brings steadiness and practical guidance that supports people to stay present under intensity, communicate needs clearly, and repair without shame. His work is particularly supportive for men seeking emotional awareness in a respectful, grounded way.

Naomi is an IFS-informed practitioner blending parts work with the somatic–relational process of INside-OWT. Her presence is calm, attuned, and deeply respectful of each person’s timing, especially supportive for those who feel emotionally sensitive, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. She is passionate about reducing shame around inner experience so people can meet themselves with trust and emotional awareness.
Clients may work with one or more members of our team depending on their needs and the support that feels most resonant.
We communicate behind the scenes to support continuity and integration while honoring consent and confidentiality. This is one way we protect relational safety inside our spiritual and educational community.
Unlike approaches that focus mainly on talking about patterns, we train couples to work with patterns in real time, where emotions live and where repair actually happens.
Our work strengthens nervous system regulation, embodied communication, and emotional responsibility so skills hold under pressure, at home, in business, and during life transitions. We use INside-OWT™, IFS, and Conscious Communication tools that become practical through guided practice, not theory.

Conscious Communication with Andre Lam was a really impressive class.
Based on Marshall Rosenberg’s beautiful Non-Violent Communication, Andre has made it very accessible. There is a simplicity in the way Andre presents the material, and this deepened the integration of the concepts. There was a beautiful blend of readings, personal sharing, and breakout room practice.
I appreciated Andre’s email communication before and after class making clear what the weekly and reasonable “home play” was. His willingness to role model the practice brought it home while creating a safe learning environment.
I highly recommend his Level 1 course.

I really enjoyed the Conscious Communication classes this year. I like how the classes were structured with explanations and breakout rooms to practice what was being explained.
I loved hearing the insights from Dre and the other participants. I liked their insights, their questions added more depth and value to the class for me.
I came away with a knowledge that I am now practicing in my everyday life with others. I do not always get it right, but they say practice makes perfect.
Thank you Dre. I really enjoyed the class.

Taking the Conscious Communication class, led by Dre, was a very positive experience. The course has given me a shift in my perspective. I'm able to recognize the parts of myself that hold me back (Saboteurs), as well as to enlarge my vocabulary around feelings and needs.
When practicing the teachings in real life relationships, I am finding that I'm able to identify and express my feelings and needs more clearly, and show more compassion to myself and others. I am grateful to have begun this journey and look forward to continuing to discover what my feelings and body are telling me.
Much appreciation to Dre and Summer for the important work they do!

Taking the Conscious Communication course based on Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication was truly transformative. I came in wanting to communicate more clearly and compassionately, and left with a completely new understanding of how to connect with others — and with myself.
The practices helped me recognize what’s alive in me in each moment, to listen without judgment, and to express my needs honestly without blame or defensiveness. I’ve noticed deeper empathy in my relationships, less reactivity in conflict, and a greater sense of peace in everyday interactions.
This course didn’t just teach me skills — it offered a new way of being in relationship with life.

The difference this course has made in our lives in such a short time with each other and our children has been life-changing.

I have to say the communication class is doing wonders in my life. I have so much dark and negative weight off my shoulders, it's incredible. My biggest takeaway is how this work is daily and continuously creates a new mindset and habit. It's a gentle and slow process but one has to put the effort into it.
From that my biggest realization is the investment of time into what I want to accomplish. I want so much but I feel afraid of the effort that is required to achieve; therefore, I started with my job. I transformed the negative narrative I used to have to a positive one. I see things as what they are with discernment without judgment. That feels amazing! I actually look forward to being in the office and I've made immediate improvements like finishing my payrolls on time without being stuck on perfection.
20 years of psychotherapy hasn’t even touched what I’ve learned in this 8 week course.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who has a strong desire to improve personal relationships with self and others. It applies to any circumstance life brings to us! The course study involved a commitment of reading, in-class practice, daily homework and real-life application. Investing in myself using this brilliant method of non-violent communication skills and recognizing saboteurs in my life opened my eyes to why encounters with others sometimes went sideways.
These tools helped me better understand the needs of others, as well as myself. I learned how expressing feelings and needs without judgment opened the door to handle difficult situations with a win-win result.
Personally, the benefits have been extraordinary. I have learned how to rectify uncomfortable conversations that in the past would have bothered me for days. Handling conflicts with these skills has brought me closer to my family. My self-esteem, confidence and self-respect have improved. There is less self-inflicted stress in my life. I notice my saboteurs and internal judge and stop them before they ruin my day. I have more empathy for myself and others and my life as a result is more peaceful. My internal judge is not running my day, my thoughts are more positive and my brain is more clear. I ask for clarification more and people feel heard and acknowledged, something I struggled with how to do in the past.
I am hopeful and believe that with daily practice the quality of my life will keep improving. Thank you Summer and Andre. This has been a life-changing experience that I am eternally grateful to you both for.

The course provided me with a language I needed and a structure for interacting within relationships, from the easiest to the most difficult. I didn't even know what my feelings and needs were before this, let alone had any idea how to communicate them. This was on top of identifying and naming the patterns of automatic behaviour that have been driving my actions.
I have thought of myself as a highly empathetic and socially aware person, but I still gained new insights and understanding into other people and what could be driving their behaviour. Theory and practice came together for students to emerge with practical skills.
You don't know what you don't know, but I would recommend everyone take this course to find out.
